I bought from here to get both myself and my family some candles. This one was for my brother; something calm and fruity.
...I was so jealous I almost swapped it out to keep for myself! It's by far my favorite so far, and I definitely will return to buy from here in the future. I got free shipping, and it took around 2 weeks to get to me. Nothing was missing or broken, and the packaging wasn't a bunch of plastic waste. The box was small and made use of all the room for candles, so the company isn't wasteful. The fragrance doesn't give me a headache, which is a problem I have with many candles, yet it still carries throughout the whole house. I came home from work and immediately smelled the candle all the way in my brother's room. Out the candles I've tried from Burke and Hare, this one is my most highly recommended so far!
I actually found the scent of this candle hard to detect at all, at first. This one is soft smelling—like Cemetery soft: the throw wasn’t blowing me away. After burning awhile I left it uncapped on my bedside table and when going to sleep, basically nose level with the (unlit) candle, I could finally smell how pretty and clean it is. It reminds me of one of my spring favorites (pink moon), with just a little hint of lollipop sweetness. Now when I burn it, I make sure it’s not in competition with any of the other candles, and it fills the room beautifully.
I received a sample of this with my last order, and WOW! I didn't think I would enjoy the aroma of pomegranate so I've always avoided scents with it, but it's totally unique. The apple and passion fruit dance beautifully with the pomegranate to create an uplifting candle experience. I'll be ordering the full-size.
I added this candle to my order on a whim and I’m so glad I did. The notes are great and the scent when burning is amazing.
Unfortunately I spent a lot of time sleeping on this candle company, I missed so much time I could have filled with incredible scents! I have tried my best to make up for lost time; during which I have collected as many scents as I can and out of them all, this is my favorite. No exaggeration. And actually, I probably could say my favorite smelling candle at all actually. I tried to stock up in case it doesn't come back, but it's not possible, I can't stop burning it. I am okay saying I'm hooked on this company lol
