Altar (Black Rose + Merlot)

Not your powdery sweet common rose scent! I'm stunned at how well B&H has captured the lowlights and spiciness of dark red rose scent. This candle smells like my favorite rose varietal, Mr Lincoln. 500 stars.

This has got to be my absolute favorite candle I’ve ever purchased from Burke & Hare. I’ve been a customer for years and I don’t know how I slept on Altar until now. I will not be missing out on this candle ever again, I will definitely be repurchasing after this one is finished. The smell is so unique and fills my entire home. It does have a strong rose smell which I love, if you’re not fond of rose I would pass on this but if like me you love anything floral you will absolutely love this candle. So good, so glad I took a chance. I will be trying the other black candles as well 🖤

Long time buyer, I love the rose scented candles. I will eventually replace all my other candles with this candle.

It is soft and Beautiful A room full of fresh roses

Fair warning, this is a real rose candle. It's very strong and I can smell it when it's just sitting in the room unlit. If you do not love the scent of roses, this won't be for you but it's 100% for me. I love rich florals and the darker scents in this balance it out nicely.

Altar is definitely one of my favorites from BHCO. After trying one candle, I had to come back and buy multiple, the room spray, and even the perfume oil! It's a really juicy and deep rose smell that's now a stable in my home and personal scent profile. I try to keep this candle on hand at all times. Very indulgent and dark romantic scent. I highly recommend not just the candle, but all products in this smell!
