Black Box FAQ
The Subscription is sold out? We are a small team and there is a limited amount of boxes that we can get out each month (in addition to our normal order volume). If we reach that limit, the box will be sold out until we are able to bring more subscribers on or existing customers drop out.
What am I getting with my subscription? A super special 9oz candle! Occasionally we may also include small extras for free, but they are not guaranteed to be in every box :)
Can I buy the candle outside of the subscription? Maybe! but we don't guarantee that we will have any extras to offer. If we do, they will be added to the site after all of the subscribers have received theirs.
When will my box ship? The boxes will begin to ship around the 10th and we will continue to work through them over the next week or two. The boxes go out in batches (we are not able to do all of them on the same day) so it's totally normal for some people to get theirs before others. You will get tracking updates so you can follow the progress and they should all be on their way by the 25th.
What if I signed up after the cut off date? The cut off for the current month's box is the 10th. If you signed up after that date, you will receive the following month's box. For example, if you signed up on May 4th - your box will go out in May. But if you signed up on May 18th, you will receive the June box and it will ship according to our normal schedule stated above (aka Mid June).
Can I pause my subscription? No, sorry. Last year subscribers were able to pause their subscription but this feature is not available for the 2022 box. You can skip your next box if you feel like the scent notes are not going to be your favorite though! Please make sure to skip before the order processes or the skip will count for the following month.
What if I don't like the scent? Black Box candles are final sale and can not be returned or exchanged. However, people love candles! So you can give it away as a gift to a friend or family member. Some people are also able to swap or sell theirs in candle groups :)
I can't log into my account, it says "user not found" Most likely you have not finished setting up your account. If you checked out as a guest, you will not be able to sign in. Please send us an email and we can send you a link to finish setting up your log in information.
Because of the way recurring (subscription) items process, discount codes or promotions can not be used for this product. Shipping is included for US shipping only. International customers will need to pay for shipping and any applicable taxes or custom fees applied by your country of residence.
