It is soft and Beautiful A room full of fresh roses
Fair warning, this is a real rose candle. It's very strong and I can smell it when it's just sitting in the room unlit. If you do not love the scent of roses, this won't be for you but it's 100% for me. I love rich florals and the darker scents in this balance it out nicely.
Altar is definitely one of my favorites from BHCO. After trying one candle, I had to come back and buy multiple, the room spray, and even the perfume oil! It's a really juicy and deep rose smell that's now a stable in my home and personal scent profile. I try to keep this candle on hand at all times. Very indulgent and dark romantic scent. I highly recommend not just the candle, but all products in this smell!
Altar smells amazing! I got the candle and the room spray and it’s the perfect rose scent. It’s not too heavy and pretty much is like the ghost of fresh cut roses.
The candle is beautifully packaged. The scent is amazing and rich. Lovely scent of roses with a touch of merlot. The wax is smooth and burns well. It's a beautiful addition to my collection. I will shop here again!!
The description of this candle on the site is correct - this isn't your standard rose, but it is so complex, highly floral, and ceremonial somehow, so the name feels very fitting. Long lasting and very good throw. I will definitely be purchasing this again!
