Took a little bit to get going but once it pooled out the scent was really nice. Smells like a little cozy bookstore, I picked up dusty wood right away and something like a black tea.
No smell at all when I burn it. I put it under a candle warmer and then i could smell it, but it was horrible. It smelled mentholated and like cough drops or some kind of medicine. I was so excited to receive this, so I was super disappointed with the outcome.
Poetry is simply that! The scent truly captures the essence of a dusty library with secrets behind the wooden bookcases and leather bound ancient wisdom recorded on parchment! I ordered a full size candle with high hopes and I was NOT disappointed. I want my entire home to smell like Poetry. This will be the go-to scented candle in my castle.
