as soon as I opened this candle I pictured baking gingerbread cookies with my grandma. It's wonderful. I put it under a candle lamp and it filled my apartment with rich yummy smells.
It’s a really nice, warm smell that reminds me of a gingerbread house. I love that all their candles smell like real things, not artificial scents. The only reason I am giving a four is because I feel like the candles scents used to really fill up my room but now they’re not as strong. I still love them.
I LOVE this candle. It’s a delicious scent for those who love the smell of fresh baked autumn or winter inspired desserts. This could definitely lure me into the gingerbread house.
I usually don’t like foodie scented candles but loved this one! Smells like whipped cream, clove and cinnamon but somehow unique and sophisticated.

Many non-soy candles trigger my allergies, but not any from Burke and Hare. Hansel & Gretel filled the room within minutes with its glorious warm gingerbread/bakery aroma. I usually only like pine or minty scents at the end of the autumn season, but I gave this one a chance and highly recommend it. I've been buying from Erica since her Etsy days and her candles are my favorite.
